The responsibilities:

The intern will gain practical experience in supporting the management team in driving forward various stages of its online and offline marketing strategy. They will work in activities such as email marketing, online advertising (mostly Facebook), sales calls, print media, event planning and promotion. The Intern will receive formal and informal training in the following: online and offline marketing as well as event management experience to include client liaison, site meetings event preparation and organisation, as well as executing a successful nightclub event. On completion the intern will have attained skills in sales, negotiation, presentation, social media marketing, promotion and management.


-     Work alongside management to build and execute our online and offline sales and marketing plan.
-     Drive new sales for our recently developed Facebook Guestlist Application and build client relationships both in Ireland and abroad.
-     Organise data already gathered from our Facebook Application
-     Managing both themed and regular nightclub Events involving International and Irish students.
-     Administer our Facebook accounts, database building, and interaction with customers through social media; attract new customers through Facebook and Forum websites.
-     Promotion of Nightclub events through social media, personally visiting potential customers, flyering, and chasing leads for bookings.


You have a strong entrepreneurial spirit with a hunger to learn everything you can about data-driven marketing and event management. You enjoy being part of a close-knit team, but retain a willingness to think critically and work independently. You’re not afraid to take chances. Above all, you’re passionate about online marketing, event management, event promotion and have the desire to learn as much about these subjects as possible.

Profile:

-     Prior social media experience
-     Friendly and a good listener
-     Proficient with Powerpoint & Microsoft Office
-     Familiar with macbooks and laptops
-     Excellent written and verbal communication skills (in English and your own language)
-     Excellent phone skills
-     Comfortable in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
-     Hours should be somewhat flexible as candidates may be required to attend nightclub events which run into the early hours of the morning

-     Graphic Design/Photoshop + Translation + Computer programming (Beneficial skills)

Remuneration: €100 per week

-     Recording minutes of meetings as required
