A 458 - Java application coder and tester

Internships Ireland is a company specializing in locating internships in Ireland for European students who are looking to do internships in Ireland.

Position: Java application coder and tester

Host company profile: Developer of a bespoke Java networking application.

Location: Dublin.

Date: Flexible, between July and September 2012

The responsibilities:

- Augment a suite of JUnit tests

- Manually test modified applications

- Write or maintain JavaDoc and other documentation

- Assist code refactoring

- Miscellaneous Java, JavaScript, MySQL and HTML programming tasks

Profile:

- IT backgrounds/studies.

- Good level in English, written and spoken, with satisfactory communication skills.

- Careful accurate coder

- Consistent in repetitive editing

- Able to handle small research assignments

- Fault finding skills

- Be organized and a self-starter.

Remuneration:  150€/week.

Please note the service of finding you a suitable internship is payable.  Our service includes matching your profile with the company in Ireland where you will do your internship. We will also be advising you on finding a suitable accommodation if needed and with your integration in Ireland. Furthermore we will monitor your progress with the company during your internship and assist you with any issues that might arise.
