Position: Direct Youth Officer

Date: The
internship is immediately available, for 3-6 months.
The
responsibilities:

Preparation of materials and assisting with facilitation of workshops both
indoors and outdoors
-
Assisting with outlines and plans for children’s and young peoples activities
and events
-
Creating handicrafts (games, activities etc)
- Assisting with research associated
with youth activities
- Assisting with policy and funding
opportunity research
- Database management using a CRM system
(Salesforce)
- Related administrative and support work

Profile:

A relevant third level qualification
-
Be self-motivated, energetic,
positive and creative.

Excellent communication skills

Excellent organisational skills
-
Good working knowledge with Word,
Excel, and PowerPoint

Be flexible
-
Capable of working on own initiative and as part of a team
-
Experience
in the voluntary sector with a genuine interest in development of young people and/or
environmental protection
-
Some
knowledge of the education system in Ireland
-
Some experience dealing with
funding applications and research desirable
