Date: The internship is immediately available for 3 months or longer.


The responsibilities: 

-     Database compilation.
-     General office administration.
-     Scanning negatives and slides.
-     Copying file from our photographic Database.
-     Monitoring Database & Database security.
-     Database management.
-     Correlating information from manuscript materials, old diaries and ledgers, matching that to required image, scanning and captioning and adding key words.
-     Assist in the selection of images from the archive for online exhibition.
-     Background research and reporting on the events depicted in the archive images.
-     Uploading images to the website.

Profile:

-     Experience in software packages such as Aperture, Photoshop and Photoshelter
-     Genuine interest in archives and history
-     Knowledge of Google Key Word, SEO
-     Good level of I.T. Skills
-     Good phone/e-mail communication manner
-     Attention to detail
-     Good written skills
-     Good timekeeper
-     Capable of working on own initiative within a small team following best practice

Date: The internship has flexible start date with a minimum period of 4-5 months.
 
The responsibilities:

Initial Duties

This will be a requirement throughout the whole internship in the department;
·         Controlling POD’s with suppliers and customers
·         Updating customer systems with real time track and trace information
·         Update KPI’s
·         Putting together backup of sales invoices
·         Creating daily manifests / CMRs for transport
·         Pre alert collections / deliveries with customers
·         Creating shipments on Road freight system

Chance of progression

After the initial 3mths if the internship is progressing to a more than satisfactory level the manager on discussion with the intern and HR may introduce them to the following activities:
·         Looking after two key accounts
·         Dealing with customer queries in relation to same
·         Assisting with sales and purchase queries
·         Invoicing customers
·         Updating monthly reports for finance and department manager
·         Collating all end of month reports for customers

Remuneration:  Allowance (not deemed to be a salary) to help towards travel & expenses throughout the students stay in Ireland.  The amount offered is €650 per month or €150 per week paid on a monthly basis

·         General administration in connection with export shipments
