Date: The internship is available for 2 German speaking interns. The period of the internship is flexible to adapt to your requirements.

The responsibilities:

 The interns will:

-       Assist in translating our current website, off-line copy, sales copy, broadcasts, etc. from English into German

-       Research the Germany market, regarding their preferences whilst travelling in Ireland

-       Assist in developing products that will suit the Germany market

When the above is achieved, the interns will

- Sell our products via telephone and e-mail to German prospects

- Make reservations on behalf of the prospects that they convert

The internship will provide the following for the intern

           - Insights into data marketing

- Experience of translation

- Insights into the sales process of an inbound tour operator

- Experience in selling

- Insight into the reservation process of a travel agent

- Experience in market research

- Experience in developing, launching and promoting products

 

Remuneration:  We will provide the intern with accommodation and costs of the property such as electricity and heating. Both interns will share the property, both will have their own room.

The responsibilities:  

 

The intern will again practical experience in developing the sales function with a growing tour operator company and will help to put in place a sales process in line with best international selling practice.

 

The intern will be involved in researching, generating and following up on sales leads, preparation of presentation packs and marketing collateral.

 

The intern will assist with sales planning and checking inventory internally.

 

Profile:

 

•          Must have excellent spoken and written English

•          A second language would be beneficial

•         Must have excellent communications skills      

•         Must be able to work on their own initiative, as well as working part of a team

·         Team player with an outgoing personality and an excellent attention to detail

·         A track record in problem-solving and “thinking outside the box” with an ability to find adequate solutions in response to a variety of scenarios

·         Computer literacy. An excellent knowledge of all basic Office applications (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)

 

 Remuneration:  We offer €600 per month
