 Position: Environmental Youth Officer

 Location: Dublin

 Date: The internship is available 2-3 months minimum.

The responsibilities:

Assist with daily tasks, including, but not limited to:

 ·   Help with the promotion of the summer camps through email, distributing leaflets, phone calls, etc.

·   Preparing materials and venues in advance of summer camp (crafts, materials etc)

·   Accompany and assisting the facilitator during the camp

·   Assisting the children with their activities

·   Follow-up administrative activities (evaluations and feedback, photos, etc.)


Profile:

 -Relevant qualification or part qualification in childcare, teacher, artist, environmental student, entertainer

-Some experience in a similar position, educating, entertaining and minding children

-Some experienced of administration or office support work

-Experience in English verbal and written communication

-The successful candidate should ideally have the following qualities:

-Love working with children and young people

-Be self-motivated, energetic, creative and enthusiastic

-Have an ability to work on own initiative as well as part of a team

-An interest in the environment and children

-An interest in learning about workshop facilitation for children

-Good communication and organizational skills

-The ability to be active and work outdoors

-Reliable

A 703 - Management/ Operations assistant

Position: Management/ Operations assistant

Location: Dublin

Date: The internship is immediately available for 3-6 months

The responsibilities:  

The ideal candidate would have a high level of English (upper-intermediate/B2 or above), and be interested in academics, teaching and education.
The candidate would work directly with the Director of Studies (DoS) and Assistant Director of Studies (ADoS) on both daily operations and a variety of ongoing projects. Duties would include, but not be limited to:
- Assisting the Dos and ADoS with day-to-day operations and the placement of new students
- Organising and creating teacher resources and other class materials
- Working with teachers on class projects and other longer-term tasks
- Inputting academic data & keeping records up to date
- Assisting with the implementation of technology resources including online teacher resources, Google Drive, ActiveTeach software, and other programs.


Profile:

- Good Spoken & Written English.
- Good working knowledge of computer applications
- Be dynamic, organized and autonomous.
- Flexible and Responsible

Remuneration:  We can offer the intern €100.00 a week and 4 hours of English classes a week in the evening.

The responsibilities:

-         Co-ordinating and supporting the Recreate’s corporate, marketing, branding, PR, advertising and sales functions
-         Co-ordinate visits to schools and early childhood centres (booking, confirmation, follow up)
-         Organize artists to avail of the workshop space  
-         Coordinate the creative reuse workshops and to promote the same
-         Promote the Aistear approach to the use of the materials
-         Responsible for ensuring and developing, where required, a quality administration system in all areas of the work
-         Updating website and social media as required
-         Provide administrative support for the project
-         Promoting Recreate and helping to grow the membership base.
-         Engage with existing and new business with respect to growing the supplier network
-         To assist in the creation, maintaining and sustaining new business for the resource store.  
-         To carry out research duties on various projects as required
-         Other duties as deemed appropriate by line manager
