The responsibilities:

_       Identifying suitable news items and uploading content onto several websites (through content management systems – training to be provided)
_        Updating social media accounts and maintaining on-line presence and activity
_        Assist in managing marketing campaigns and PR campaigns
_        Assist in running events, including evening events and ceremonies
_        Maintaining internal photography and story archives
_          Assist General office functions – involving the use of word processing (Word) and spreadsheet (Excel) software
_        Maintain office filing system – hard copy and digital (using scanning software)
_          Assist in basic bookkeeping tasks
_         Researching and updating new and existing databases (including media and contacts databases)
_        General administration tasks
_         Participating in team and project meetings

Profile:

- Good Spoken & Written English with strong communicational skills.
- Highly computer literate, with a
- Good working knowledge of computer applications, social media tools and content management systems
- Be dynamic, organized and autonomous

·         Achieve top ranking positioning in our key markets across multiple search terms on Google / Bing / Yahoo etc. 
·         Keyword Research
·         Reporting and analysis on different performance metrics

This will be a requirement throughout the whole internship in the department;
-e-scanning
-file creation
-report updates
-booking confirmations
-dealing with shipping lines
-dealing with hauliers

Chance of progression
After the initial 3mths if the internship is progressing to a more than satisfactory level the manager on discussion with the intern and HR may introduce them to the following activities:

-         Post Flight (Track & Trace) airfreight shipments through airlines Cargo Tracking Websites
a.      Update KN computer (CIEL) with Post Flight status.
b.      Update Job Notes in Ciel with Post Flight info.
c.      Update KN “In House” (vMit) operation of post flight.
-        Put together Awb, commercial docs & Security Docs on air export shipments after operations have completed & printed the Mawb/Hawb.
-          E-file export paperwork.
-         Open files in Air Imports from the KNIE
-         Download commercial documents after the KNIE has been downloaded in AI

Chance of progression

-          Update Key A/C’s with post flight status of their shipment
-          Cordinate collection of shipments with Transport Manager
-          Book regular (repeat) export consignments with airline(s)
-          Inform shippers of their flight information
-          Liasie with & inform KN overseas offices with flight & post flight data
-          Open files in air export & create flight schedule
-          Create courier booking in Ciel from the CB programme
-          Book courier/airline to collect from KN W/hse
-          Create Hawbs in air exports for regular repeat clients


Profile:
-          Business/Marketing or a Logistics background/studies (Interest in Logistics is preferred)
-          Good communication skills
-          Desire to learn and a commitment to working hard and making a genuine contribution.
