The responsibilities:

You will support the Operations Department including Activities such as:

1. Preparation and presentation of proposed client program and itinerates for group and individual travelers,

2. Assistance with the administration of confirmed program including communicating with the overseas client.

3. From time to time the candidate may be required to assist with other areas of the
Business

This list is not exhaustive and other activities may be added depending on the competencies of the intern including
1)     General office duties, such as answering calls
2)     Speaking with French agents and assisting the accounts department with debt collection.
3)     Other ad-hoc duties as may arise in busy season times.


Profile:

-Ideally suited to a candidate who wishes for hands on experience is a busy tourism environment
-Ideally the candidate should have an excellent command of the English and French languages - both written and oral.
-Good knowledge of Microsoft Office Software suite; well organized
-Good communicator; Strong initiative; Brings ideas; Web & IT literate; Enjoys taking
Responsibility; Ability to work productively on their own initiative; Flexible.

Remuneration: 75€/week

The responsibilities:

The role is Operations related and the main responsibilities will be (working closely with a manager):

-          Collecting manifests from Ports of Loading
-          Collecting customs documentation from Ports of loading + from customers
-          Creating jobs in our system for each booking from the manifests
-          Assisting in preparation of discharge lists for weekly ship
-          Sending advices of arrivals to customers
-          Arranging deliveries to customers
-          Releasing shipments to customers
-          Entering daily + weekly container movements in our container control system
-          Creating a container stock report to be sent every week

The responsibilities:

The role involves assisting the General Manager with the day to day management of accommodation in Dublin city centre ensuring that all aspects of the premises are maintained to the standards expected in order to provide a comfortable atmosphere and that all guests receive the best possible customer service during their stay


·         Responding to phone/emails enquiries and reservations (French customers)
