Position: Direct Youth Officer

Location: Dublin
Date: The
internship is immediately available, for 3-6 months.
The
responsibilities:

Administrative and support work related to organising a
youth forum
-
Preparation of materials and assisting with facilitation
of said forum and other related events and activities

Assisting with outlines and plans for the events
-
Assisting with research associated with youth activities
-
Assisting with policy and funding opportunity research
-
Maintaining records
-
Dealing with participants, forum contributors, suppliers
and guests
-
Database management using a CRM system (Salesforce)
Profile:
-
A relevant third level qualification
-
Be self-motivated, energetic,
positive and creative.

Excellent communication skills
-
Excellent organisational skills
-
Good working knowledge with Word,
Excel, and PowerPoint
-
Be flexible
-
Capable of working on own initiative and as part of a team
-
Experience
in the voluntary sector with a genuine interest in development of young people and/or
environmental protection
-
Some
knowledge of the education system in Ireland desirable
-
Some experience dealing with
funding applications and research desirable
