The responsibilities:

- Preparation of materials and assisting with facilitation of workshops both indoors and outdoors

- Assisting with outlines and plans for children’s and young peoples activities and events

- Creating handicrafts (games, activities etc)

- Assisting with research associated with youth activities

- Assisting with policy and funding opportunity research

- Database management using a CRM system (Salesforce)

- Related administrative and support work

Profile:

-     A relevant third level qualification

-     Be self-motivated, energetic, positive and creative.

-     Excellent communication skills

-     Excellent organisational skills

-     Good working knowledge with Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

-     Be flexible

-     Capable of working on own initiative and as part of a team

-     Experience in the voluntary sector with a genuine interest in development of young people and/or environmental protection

-     Some knowledge of the education system in Ireland desirable

-     Some experience dealing with funding applications and research desirable

The intern will work within the sales and marketing team and shall gain practical experience in the development and execution of a marketing and business development campaign through the use of digital marketing and other direct marketing techniques. Training and experience will be provided in technology business strategies and models, mobile communications, product marketing, business development and social media marketing (focusing on LinkedIn). On completion the intern will have gained skills in tech sector strategy, digital marketing and business development.

The responsibilities:

-  Target customer research on internet and industry databases

-  Assist in preparation of product promotion collateral

- Plan & execute email & business social media marketing campaigns

- Undertake a basic level of telemarketing follow-up (but primary follow-up will be with internal expert and the intern will sit in on the calls / webex demos) 

- Measure results of marketing campaigns & refine plans

- Monitor company website and linkedIn page engagement

- The intern will be invited to attend product marketing and sales & marketing management meetings. 

Profile:

-         Excellent written and verbal communication skills

-         Energetic and positive attitude and desire to learn and develop within a team

-         Knowledge of digital media applications such as LinkedIn would be advantageous.

-         A third level qualification in a business or IT subject is required

Remuneration:  €150 per week.
