Position: HR & Recruitment with Logistics.

Location: Dublin city / Ireland.

Date: The internship is available from May 2012 for min 4 months.

The responsibilities:

- Recruitment/HR Duties – Entering the candidates’ details onto a system, saving candidates’ CVs, registering candidates’ details on file, advertising for staff, sourcing and selecting staff and setting up interviews and checking references.
- Organizing the planning of customers’ trip (timetable, location).
- Updating information on databases (customers, vehicles).
- Invoicing Customers.
- Accruing charges on our accounts system.
- Administration Duties – assisting with payroll, faxing timesheets

Profile:
- Business/HR/Logistics background/studies (Interest in Logistics is preferred).
- Good Computer literacy (Pack Office): in Particular with Excel, and good internet skills.
- To be organized and punctual.
- Good Spoken & Written English with good communicational skills.

-         Handling students payment transactions (Using Sentinel)
-         Promoting and leading social programme activities if needed
-         Getting portfolios ready for new arrivals
-         Inputting individual student reports and student test results
-         Updating host family database
-         Host family communication
-         Producing host family quarterly newsletters
-         Analysing accommodation feedback (Leavers Online Survey)

Profile:
-No technical experience is required

Experience in web application testing; experience with automated testing (JUnit, Test NG) with Selenium is an asset

A406 - Tourism Operation Assistant

Position: Tourism Operation Assistant

Host company profile and internship information: This company is responsible for all services relevant to group and individual travel into both Ireland and Scotland.

The intern will do his/her internship in the area responsible for all bookings, itineraries and vouchers for all touring groups. He/She could have contact with the overseas clients and Irish suppliers.
This placement require a good eye for details and great enthusiasm.
Please note it is a purely admin internship that we offer (not highly advanced admin) It will give you a good base for using English on a daily basis. During your time with us, you will be involved as much as possible in our every day work. On arrival, you will be assigned to key staff members who will train you thus allowing you complete set tasks. We expect the student to accept certain responsibility for the work they carry out.
The nature of our work is highly administrative with constant use of fax/e mail/telephone/our in-house computer system (Tourplan)/filing etc. We provide a service for our overseas clients based on their requirements and in order for us to be successful, we must reply quickly and accurately.

Location: Edinburgh / Scotland

Date: The internship is available from March 2012 for minimum 4 months. The period of the internship is flexible to adapt to your requirements but will last at least four months.

The responsibilities:
-          To contact  Bed &Breakfast suppliers and make reservations.
-          To provide administrational support.
-          To undertake product research
-          To produce documentation and vouchers for the groups travelling during the season.
-          To administer Tattoo tickets as required.
-          To meet and Greet clients as appropriate.
-          To assist in the Product contracting process when required.
-          The candidate will be mentored throughout the placement by Group Operations Manager depending on the area in which the student is placed. 


Profile:
-         High level of English
-         Very good keyboard skills
-         Be able to be quick and accurate
-         Be flexible, have a team oriented approach to work, including the ability to be self-motivated
-         Be punctual and motivated
-         High level of concentration required at all times


Remuneration:  £250 GBP per month to cover expenses.
