Position: IT Product Development Specialist

Host company profile: provides hardware, software & training.

Location: Duneany, Kildare, Co. Kildare

Date: The internship is immediately available. The period of the internship is flexible to adapt to your requirements. (3 Months preferable or more)

The responsibilities:

-          Product Development

-          Data Entry

-          Database Management: working with MS Access

-          Research: conducting research into the impact of behaviors on accident rates

Profile:

-          Student must be more than 18 years old

-          Have a good English

-          Be dynamic and organized

-          Highly motivated Intern who is a self-starter

-          Particular interest in & talent for Computer Programming

-          Must have proficiency in, one or more of the following web-based programmes - SQL or .ASP or .NET Self-motivated and professional

-          Looking for “a specialist” for the responsibilities described above

-          Computer literate - Can use Word, Excel, MS Outlook, MS Access, PowerPoint

Remuneration:  Full board and lodging (FREE Accommodation and FREE Meals) will be provided in exchange for your work

Additional information:

-          The business is run from a home office in Duneany, Kildare, Co.Kildare, Ireland. Theirs is a detached home located in a countryside area, 6 kilometers from Kildare, the nearest town. The area is rural and quiet, and will appeal to anyone who likes to work in a calm peaceful environment. Although they are surrounded by neighbors, most people like their own privacy and there is not much interaction. There will be days when no one is around during business hours so you will be working alone at those times. They have two outdoor dogs, which stay in their own area of the garden.

-          You will be living in their home, and full board and lodging will be provided in exchange for your work. You will have your own bedroom and will share a bathroom, possibly with one other

-          You will be expected to independently cater for your own laundry, clean-up, etc. – just like in your own home! Also, they do not permit smoking indoors

-          With regard to evenings and weekends, they will do their best to accommodate social needs (drop off & pick up in local towns) but their availability for this is subject to work & other pressures

-          You will be generously supported and trained by 3 persons, and will be welcomed into a very committed and hard-working team

-          As parents of two adult children, they have travelled extensively for work experience and have met great people along the way; they look forward to providing the best possible environment for personal & professional growth, and will guarantee that any needs will be catered for to the best of their ability. They would like to think that the intern will consider this as ‘a home from home’ – they are very relaxed and like to enjoy life, although they work very hard.
