Internships Ireland is a company specializing in locating interesting internships in Ireland for European students who are looking to do internships in Ireland.

Position: Web master

Host company profile: This company is a Tour Operator

Location: Dublin

Date: The internship is immediately available. The period of the internship is flexible to adapt to your requirements.

The responsibilities:

-         Maintenance of company website, knowledge of Wordpress, CSS and HTML necessary

-         Help with video production

-         Researching best practice web design and function

-         Graphic design duties

-         Upgrading website features where necessary.

-         Ecommerce research and implementation

Profile:

-To have a good level of English

-To have an understanding of object oriented programming & System Development Life Cycle

-To have an understating of common good coding standards

-To be able to comment code and making code readable using proper indentation etc

-To have an experience with SQL/TSQL languages (Preferably in a Microsoft SQL server environment)

-To have a good understanding of database design and development techniques such as normalisation

-To have an excellent knowledge of HTML/CSS and W3C standards

-To have already a knowledge and a practical experience of a web based programming language, preferably ASP

-To have a background in ASP.NET / VB.net would be a major advantage

-To be able to manage Web plug-ins like jquery/JavaScript/AJAX in a web based environment/ and XML

Remuneration:  €120 per week

Please note the service of finding you a suitable internship is payable.  Our service includes matching your profile with the company in Ireland where you will do your internship. We will also be advising you on finding a suitable accommodation if needed and with your integration in Ireland. Furthermore we will monitor your progress with the company during your internship and assist you with any issues that might arise.
