Position: Funding and Marketing

Location: Dublin
Date: The
internship will be available mid-August, for 3-6 months.
The
responsibilities:

Assist with fundraising strategies including corporates, businesses, legacy
programme, gifts in kind and individuals
-
Contribute new ideas for
fundraising
-
Participate in the day to day
work of the organisation
-
Assist in the development of
the Membership programme.
-
Assist in the development of
new initiatives
-
Assisting with the
preparation of funding proposals and grant writing.
-
Maintain clear records of
all contacts, activities and funds raised.
-
Assist with development of new marketing material as appropriate
and as directed.
-
Assist with the promotion
of the organisation’s core work areas and programmes.
-
Liaise with all third party
suppliers
-
Assist with participation
in external events and exhibitions.
-
Other duties as requested.
Profile:
-
A relevant third level
qualification (e.g. Communications, PR, Journalism, Fundraising).
- Effective written and verbal communication skills, able to relate to a
range of people, including potential sponsors and donors, the media, young
people and the general public.

Be self-motivated, energetic,
positive and creative.

Excellent communication skills
-
Excellent organisational skills
-
Good working knowledge with Word,
Excel, and PowerPoint
-
Some knowledge of a CRM database
-
Be flexible
-
Capable of working on own initiative and as part of a team
-
Experience
in the voluntary sector with a genuine interest in development of young people and/or
environmental protection

Some
knowledge of the education system in Ireland desirable
-
Some experience dealing with
funding applications and research desirable
Remuneration: No
