Position: Marketing Assistant
Host
Company Profile: Marketing Agency for agriculture
and equine industries.
Location: It is
an internship based in a home-office
located in Co. Kildare, in the country-side.
Date: The
internship will be available in September, for 2-3 months minimum.
The
responsibilities:
The Marketing Assistant will work
directly with the Marketing Manager to successfully roll out and deliver
marketing campaigns. This role would suit someone interested in social media
with an aim to pursue a career in marketing.
- Assisting with the delivery of
marketing campaigns
- Creation of content on online
channels for clients (email newsletter, website, social media) as directed
by the Marketing Manager
- Collating and maintaining
databases
- Co-ordinating distribution of
marketing materials
- Proof reading copy
- Managing press cuttings
- Other administrative and project
based duties as required
Profile:

Knowledge of
marketing principles
-
Understand new
technologies and applying to marketing principles

Capable of
writing reports, procedures and business correspondence
- Desire to learn and contribute
- Attention to detail
- Ability to complete tasks within
given timeframe
- Excellent communication skills and
fluency in English
- Sufficient proficiency in using
Windows based OS, MS office suite, and other design or web based computer
skills would be an advantage
Remuneration: Travel
