A 650 - Marketing Assistant

Position: Marketing Assistant

Host Company Profile: Industrial company, leader in its sector.

Location: Dublin

Date: The internships will be available early September, 12 weeks minimum.

The responsibilities:

Marketing, Sales support and liaising with International Companies in a new product context.

The intern will be supported by the Marketing and Sales Directors. The candidate will have the opportunity to liaise with our multinational partner companies during the internship. This will be an opportunity to see how a small cohesive company operates in a challenging environment. The company has an ‘open culture’ and you will get some insights into business strategy. Our objective is that your short term with us will have a positive impact on your career.

The Intern will support the company primarily in regard to marketing information and in targeting new business through direct mail and targeting:

-     Marketing , Sales, Budget preparation

-     Direct Mail

-     Product Launch Support

-     Phone Support

-     Price list compilation support

-     Web upgrade Support

-     Participation in presentations for new business

-     Work with Staff using a Sales Based Order system which you will be taught to use.

We do not expect you to be proficient in all areas and will work to reinforce your strengths.

Profile:

-     All Candidates must have oral English comprehension to a reasonable level and the ability to respond to e mails in English. This will be tested.

-     Intend to finish college with a marketing or commerce or sales qualification and have completed their second year.

-     Have a basic operational level in Microsoft Office (Word, PPT, Excel, Access, E Mail)

-     A basic knowledge of web sites and e marketing would be an advantage.

-     French as a language would be useful but it is not a requirement.

Remuneration: a student travel card, daily lunch allowances, Irish Mobile
