-To offer the highest level of guest service in all Food & Beverage areas, ensuring the agreed standards are achieved at all times.

The responsibilities:

Initial Duties:

Accounts Receivable
  • Daily cheque entry to cash book and preparation of bank lodgments
  • Allocation of payments to customer accounts
  • Sending statements and invoices to customers as requested
  • Bank Reconciliations – mainly EURO account
  • Liaising with customers by mail/phone
  • General Accounts Receivable queries and support
Accounts Receivable Reports
  • Exceed Credit Limit report – Print daily and send to appropriate finance person
  • COD (Cash on Delivery) report – preparation and submission to finance manager
  • Overall Debtors report – preparation and submission to finance team
  • Departmental Debtors report – preparation and submission to finance team
  • Uninsured Debtors report – preparation and submission to finance team
  • Credit notes report – preparation and submission to finance team
  • Expired credit limit report – run once monthly and communicate findings to finance manager
  • Credit Insurance report – preparation and submission to finance team
Account Payable
  • Invoice /Credit note allocation for some of company’s major suppliers
  • Intercompany reconciliations
  • Reconciling statements and other various checks on supplier statements
  • Booking of supplier payments, including sending remittance advices
  • Liaising with company suppliers by mail/phone
  • General Accounts Payable queries and support
Accounts Payable Reports
  • Creditors ageing report – preparation, analyzing and reporting findings to Accountant
Other
  • Frequent liaising with other departments
  • Updating of Accounting system (Acon) in order to get appropriate reports
  • Archiving & Storage of financial files
  • Keying in statistical figures where necessary
Chance of progression
  • Understanding of profit and loss and balance sheet statements
  • Assisting Accountants in Month end process, i.e. booking vouchers/invoices etc.
  • Understanding of company Fixed Assets Module
  • Understanding of information contained within monthly management accounts.
  • Other areas as they arise/become relevant
Profile:
·         Background in accounts/finance.
·         Good level of English required.
·         Good communication skills.
·         Be flexible and multi task to help with various aspects of running the shop.
·         The intern will receive formal/informal training in all the responsibilities.

Remuneration:  The company will offer an allowance (deemed not to be salary) to help towards travel and expenses throughout your stay in Ireland. The amount offered is €650 per month or €150 per week paid on a monthly basis.
