A656 - Airfreight Export Department – International Logistics

Internships Ireland is a company specializing in locating interesting internships in Ireland for European students who are looking to do internships in Ireland.

Position: Airfreight Export Department – International Logistics

Host company profile: This is a leading company in transport and logistics all over the world. The company has many branches in Ireland.

Location: Dublin

Date: The internship will be available in November for a minimum of 6 months.

The responsibilities:

The role will involve a variety of tasks:
·            Post flights shipments to ensure our customer consignments have flown as booked to the final destination
·            Document preparation in accordance with I.A.T.A & Revenue guidelines
·            E-Filing and coding all documentation into our operational system
·            Invoicing Customers
·            Accruing charges on our accounts system
·            Passing supplier invoices & credit notes
·            General administration in connection with export shipments
·            Completing files for our Aviation Dept and invoicing them out to key customers.
·            General administration in connection with export shipments

Profile:
·            Business/Marketing or a Logistics background/studies (Interest in Logistics is preferred)
·            Good communication skills
·            Desire to learn and a commitment to working hard and making a genuine contribution.
·            Willingness to undertake all kinds of work.
·            Strong Computer literacy: in Particular with Excel, and good internet skills.
·            Good English
·            Punctuality

Remuneration:  The company will offer an allowance (deemed not to be salary) to help towards travel and expenses throughout your stay in Ireland. The amount offered is €650 per month or €150 per week paid on a monthly basis.

Please note the service of finding you a suitable internship is payable.  Our service includes matching your profile with the company in Ireland where you will do your internship. We will also be advising you on finding a suitable accommodation if needed and with your integration in Ireland. Furthermore we will monitor your progress with the company during your internship and assist you with any issues that might arise.
