Date: The internship is immediately available for minimum 3 months. The period of the internship is flexible to adapt to your requirements.

The responsibilities:

Job purpose:

To plan and carry out direct marketing and sales activities, so as to maintain and increase the client database and increase turnover in accordance with agreed business plans.

Key responsibilities and accountabilities:

-          Work closely with Director in the formulation and development of sales and marketing strategy.

-          Maintain and develop customer database.

-          Plan and carry out direct marketing activities to agreed budgets, sales volumes, values, product mix and timescales.

-          Plan and organize all social media activity including monthly promotions.

-          Develop ideas and create offers for direct mail and marketing, to target market clients.

-          Respond to and follow up sales enquiries by post, telephone and e-mail.

-          Maintain and develop existing and new customer relationships through planned individual support, and liaison with staff.

-          Monitoring and reporting trends within successful campaigns.

-          Carry out market research, competitor analysis and customer surveys.

-          Provide comprehensive administrative support in an efficient and timely manner.

-          Attend meetings necessary to perform duties to aid business and organizational development.

-          Manage the external marketing agency activities of telemarketing and research.

-          Attend training and to develop relevant knowledge and skills.

The intern will be provided with full training and will have constant support from our other colleague and the manager.

Remuneration:  The company will pay €100 euro per week to cover expenses.

Please note the service of finding you a suitable internship is payable.  Our service includes matching your profile with the company in Ireland where you will do your internship. We will also be advising you on finding a suitable accommodation if needed and with your integration in Ireland. Furthermore we will monitor your progress with the company during your internship and assist you with any issues that might arise.
