Position: Environmental science Coordinator

Location: Dublin / Ireland


Date: The internship is immediately available for minimum 2/3 months. The period of the internship is flexible to adapt to your requirements.


The responsibilities:

This role would be suitable for a candidate with an environmental science background as it involves the collating and manipulation of hazardous waste data for such regulatory authorities as the Environmental Protection Agency, Dublin City Council (the nominated authority for the movement of hazardous waste in Ireland) and even the EU. Day to day roles would involve the following:

  •           Preparing the relevant paperwork for the movement of hazardous waste.
  •           Booking hazardous waste loads in and out of the site.
  •           Checking and correcting paperwork to ensure hazardous waste information is correct.
  •           Maintaining the Dublin City Council on line hazardous waste movement portal.
  •           Collating and manipulating hazardous waste data files for various departments on site.
  •           Collating and manipulating hazardous waste data files for various regulatory reports.
  •           Assisting in report writing on larger hazardous waste jobs.
  •     The intern will be provided with full training and will have constant support from our other colleague and the manager.


Profile:
-          Good English level
-          Environmental science background
-          Good computer skills
                                          
Remuneration:  150€ per week will be paid.
