Position: Accountant Assistant
Host company profile: This Company is a travel agency.
Location: Dublin
Date: The internship is available from the end of January for 6 months.
The responsibilities:
- Accounts payable: Passing/authorising invoices for payment, compilation of remittance advices and cheque payments, Reconciliation of suppliers’ accounts and dealing with queries. We deal with a wide variety of suppliers in both Ireland and the UK
- Credit Control: Reconciliation of debtors accounts, posting of monies received, telephoning and faxing debtors (overseas travel agents), assisting with banking and receipting of cash.
- General Accounts: Reconciliation of debtors accounts, posting of monies received, telephoning and faxing debtors (overseas travel agents), assisting with banking and receipting of cash.
Profile:
- To have a very good English
- To have a background in Accountancy
- To be dynamic, organized, flexible and hardworking
- To be a highly motivated Intern who is a self-starter
- To be able to take initiative and demonstrates plenty of confidence
- To be Self-motivated, friendly and professional
- To feel comfortable using Word, Excel, MS Outlook, MS Access & PowerPoint
Remuneration: €300 per month
