Internships Ireland is a company specializing in locating interesting internships in Ireland for European students who are looking to do internships in Ireland.

Position: IT Support

Host company profile: The Company is developing a health monitoring product to reduce costs.

Location: Cork / Ireland

Date: The internship is immediately available for a period of 3 months minimum.

The responsibilities:

Base Station:
- Bring up board to run Linux with TCP/IP stack
- Write scripts to communicate with server and data exchange
- Small foorprint webserver for local configuration of base station
- Configuration html pages and associated scripts
- System Testing

Web Server:
- Implement AJAX / CSS solutions to already existing portions of the web page
- Implement visual changes to web page as advised.
- Helping to develop algorithms

Profile:

-         Experience working on a Windows and Linux environment.

-         Some experience in network support.

-         Some experience in windows 2000/2003 server, windows XP and office products.

Remuneration:  €150 per week

Please note the service of finding you a suitable internship is payable.  Our service includes matching your profile with the company in Ireland where you will do your internship. We will also be advising you on finding a suitable accommodation if needed and with your integration in Ireland. Furthermore we will monitor your progress with the company during your internship and assist you with any issues that might arise.
