Position: eCommerce Web Developer Internship.

Location: Limerick / Ireland
Date: The internship is immediately available.
The responsibilities:
You will be assigned a staff member with direct responsibility for managing the internship placement and completing monthly compliance checks and end of placement details.
The e-Commerce Web Developer Intern will be mentored to develop and maintain Magento/Open cart/PrestaShop-based (or similar) shopping cart systems and websites.
Intern will gain skills necessary to work on their own from a design and specification, ability to upgrade, migrate or establish any e-commerce install.
Intern will gain experience in developing and extending Magento platforms or similar. A good understanding of working with SQL statements and databases will be necessary to ensure internship is beneficial.
Profile:
- Intern will gain ecommerce knowledge in the following:
- Design workarounds Implement Security, anti-spam and secure safe code.
- Supporting and developing sites with Magento, PrestaShop, and Open Cart.
- Using 3rd party payment Gateways like PayPal, RealEx.
- PHP, CSS, XHTML, JavaScript, CMS, Photoshop.
- Good Spoken & Written English with excellent communicational skills.
- Be a flexible, organized, autonomous and creative.
Remuneration: €100 per week.
